For me the journey began after my second Yoga class, I went home, wrote my teaching schedule and knew this was what I wanted to do, this is what I had to do! I soon became a workshop Junky, and I began my Teacher Trainings only 4 months in to my practice. This was frowned upon by many other teachers as this was not typically done until you have at least a year of practice under your belt. Well, being the rebel that I am - I continued on, one training after another. I spent my first 1 1/2 years with Shiva Rea and my next 2 years with Baron Baptiste. I have also had the pleasure of trianing with Dharma Mittra and "Edely Wallace" owner of the Yoga Matrix, she is the total embodiment of Living Yoga. I continue with trainings and workshops on a regular basis.
I believe in the "Power of Yoga"
the process of Un-doing and the process of Uniting as a whole intergrated being.
Living from the neck up only kept me above water
and ultimately
kept me empty.
I invite you to meet me on the Mat ...
and you will find yourself there ~
I never understood how to allow my heart to lead me. I learned that my intellect was to carry me through life and my belief became one that my intellect would keep me safe .
Before Yoga
I love what I do
I teach to reach
Before Yoga
from the inside out, but it was a choice I had to make. Yoga allowed me to feel, to feel all the things I had kept hidden in the depths of my being. Yoga changed my life.
I never really understood how to receive without giving of myself.
and it allows me to Love in return.
I am interested in the integration of myself as a whole. This process is not always met with ease. It is a process that only you can accomplish by showing up and meeting your Mat, ultimatly meeting yourself. The Mat serves as a reflection, a mirror.
I teach with the hope to Inspire you to allow yourself to Wake Up to what is real for you. This is far different than where we think we are meant to be or supposed to be - this is the place of meeting the unknown - this is the place of waking up to al of You.
There is a saying
"You don't find Yoga.
Yoga finds you."
Yoga awakened me
I am grateful to have been found.
I believe in the "Power of Yoga"
